Giants reopen camp after 1-day shutdown

A day after the Giants shut down the team's summer training camp ar Oracle Park, practice is back up and running.

OFFICIAL: #SFGiants received test results from July 4th and all are negative among players and staff. Workouts at Oracle Park will resume today.

Manager Gabe Kapler spoke about the issue, via Zoom, after the team temporarily closed down.

“We do expect testing results at some point today," Kapler said. "And assuming we’re all clear we’ll pick this up tomorrow on a regular schedule.”

While there were no new positives in the latest batch, already, the club has had four individuals test positive, incuding a pair on Monday.
