TMZ Sports has acquired the video of the play on which Cousins was hurt, and it's rough. Cousins can be heard screaming as he falls to the floor amid a layup attempt.

ESPN's Adrian Wojnarnowski was the first to report the knee problem for the Warrior turned Laker:

Lakers center DeMarcus Cousins has suffered a possible knee injury and will undergo further testing today in Los Angeles, league sources tell ESPN. Cousins was working out in Las Vegas on Monday when he had to leave the court, sources said. He signed a one-year deal in July.

Per Wojnarowski, Cousins' injury was described by a source as "bumping knees" with another player.

Steve Kerr, Cousins' most recent coach, offered a heartfelt response when asked about the latest setback.

Cousins, who spent the first half of his lone season with the Warriors recovering from a torn Achilles, promptly tore his quad in the club's first-round playoff matchup.
