A civil lawsuit between Antonio Brown and his accuser, Britney Taylor, has been settled, according to a statement from the free agent wide receiver’s attorney, Alana Burstyn.

Taylor, who used to work as Brown’s personal trainer, had filed a lawsuit in 2019 alleging Brown had sexually assaulted her on multiple occasions and that she suffered “near-daily panic attacks, frequent suicidal ideations and insomnia” from the trauma of the alleged assault.

Burstyn’s statement said that the two, who have been friends for over a decade, have reflected on their relationship and decided it is best to move on.

“Antonio is grateful for Britney’s excellent training assistance,” she said. “They are pleased Antonio is doing so well with the Bucs and has a ring. Their dispute is resolved and they wish each other great continued success.”

The terms of the settlement were not disclosed by Burstyn.

Brown, who was not facing criminal charges, has denied the allegations, claiming any sexual interaction was consensual.

Shortly after Taylor’s lawsuit, another woman came forward and accused Brown of sexual misconduct when she was hired to paint a mural at the wide receiver’s home.

Brown, a member of the Patriots at the time of the accusations, was released after playing just one game with the team.

The NFL conducted its own internal investigation and suspended Brown eight games for violating the NFL’s personal conduct policy.

Brown signed with the Tampa Bay Bucs during last season when he was eligible to return from his suspension, reuniting with Tom Brady and winning a Super Bowl in February.
