After the Atlanta Braves blew a two-run lead in the ninth inning Tuesday night to the San Francisco Giants, John and Hugh spoke about Luke Jackson and the closer role in general.

John Fricke is tired of the audition process and feels they should have had things decided by now.

"They tried re-working the bullpen," said Fricke. "We're past the point of work in progress. We're into the race."

John continues by placing the end results of this season at the feet of the Braves GM.

"Three outs get you that win," said Douglas. "It should be easy. There's a lot of people calling about Craig Kimbrel, he's sitting in the catbird seat now. With the Phillies needing a closer it might become a bidding war"

Hugh is comfortable staying patient for a little while longer.

"They're waiting for somebody to emerge," said Douglas. "They still have a lot of young arms they're still trying to figure out."

John Fricke would prefer to be active: "I would rather try and fail than not try."
