The Brewers get the game two victory over the Chicago Cubs with a final score of 4-3.

The Chicago Cubs starting pitcher Tyler Chatwood was scratched from his start prior to the game due to back tightness. He was replaced by the right-handed starter Alec Mills. Mills had 4 scoreless innings to start the game until Ben Gamel rolled over into a double play that delivered the Brewers first run of the game.

Brandon Woodruff took the mound for the Brewers in game two and started with 4 scoreless innings as well but got into some trouble in the bottom half of the 5th inning as he gives up 3 runs in that inning. Woodruff would be pulled from the game after just 4.1 innings pitched.

Freddy Peralta entered the game in the bottom of the 5th with the bases loaded and was able to get out of the jam without anymore damage done.

Into the 6th, with two runners on, Christian Yelich delivered a 3-run homerun that would give the Brewers a 4-3 lead. His 5th HR of the season.

Peralta, Devin Williams and Josh Hader held the Cubs hitting scoreless the rest of the game and would hang on to the 4-3 victory over the Chicago Cubs.

The two teams will be in action again tomorrow afternoon for game 3 as the start time for that game has been moved up due to bad weather in the forecast for tomorrow night.

First Pitch set for 2:20 pm.
