Quotes

HEAD COACH NATALIE NAKASE:

ON PREPARING FOR GAME THREE:

“Rest and recovery right away is going to be important, because this turnaround is pretty quick. So it's [about] really being disciplined.”

ON ATLANTA’S DEFENSE:

“I thought they really started to shift into those driving lanes that we were talking about…I thought they were out hustling us to get to those spots. So we just have to make sure we stay composed. If we can't punch first, stay composed and get back to our spacing.”

GOLDEN STATE GUARD VERONICA BURTON AND CENTER KIAH STOKES

ON WHAT IT WILL TAKE TO WIN IN ATLANTA:

Burton: “It takes composure. And we say it all the time, I believe we are a very composed team, and it just comes down to sticking together. It’s going to be loud, it’s going to be rowdy, but that’s exciting. This is Finals basketball; it’s where we want to be, so I’m excited for that.”
