49ers Injuries: List gets long, and a Fred Warner revelation

So, it's not looking great for the San Francisco 49ers. They are 5-6 with a litany of injuries. Kyle Shanahan provided updated Wednesday morning, and they were not exactly inspiring.

Here's the practice report for Wednesday from Santa Clara:

Not practicing:
Jordan Elliott (concussion)
Aaron Banks (concussion)
Demetrius Flannigan-Fowles (knee)
Deommodore Lenoir (knee)
Nick Bosa (hip/oblique)
Trent Williams (ankle)
Christian McCaffrey (rest)

Limited
Brock Purdy (right shoulder)
Dominick Puni (shoulder)
Dre Greenlaw (Achilles)
Kevin Givens (groin)

But none of that was the headline. According to reports from the 49ers locker room from The Athletic's Matt Barrows and ESPN's Nick Wagoner, Trent Williams was moving around on a walking scooter, not putting pressure on his injured ankle.

More notable than that was a revelation from All-Pro linebacker Fred Warner. Warner admitted that he suffered a fractured bone in his ankle in Week 5 against the New England Patriots, explaining the downturn in his performance.
