Myers says Warriors will be 'aggressive' as trade deadline approaches

The front office boss was on with Steiny, Guru & Dibs

With the trade deadline approaching on March 25, Bob Myers, the Warriors president of basketball operations and general manager, will have to decided how to navigate the market and whether to bolster his club, which sits at 19-18, No. 9 in the West.

"It's the balancing act as far as what makes sense now, but doesn't hamper us in the future," Myers told Steiny, Guru & Dibs on Wednesday on 95.7 The Game. "What can we do that maybe can be beneficial this year and into next year."

The Warriors find themselves in a much different spot than a year ago when the season collapsed out from under them almost before it began. Never mind those dynastic years of seasons past.

"We'll be aggressive. We'll look around," Myers explained. "There were years where we had the best record and were pretty quiet at the trade deadline. We didn't really do much or make many calls. I think we'll be more open in making calls and listening to calls than we've been."
