The Golden State Warriors will be without Draymond Green for a bit.
The All-Star center was placed int the NBA’s COVID-19 health and safety protocols on Sunday, according to NBA insider Shams Charania.
Green had played in the Warriors’ most recent game on Christmas Day, scoring eight points and grabbing eight rebounds while dishing 10 assists in a win over the Phoenix Suns.
Per the protocols, players cannot return for at least 10 days or if they can provide two negative tests at least 24 hours apart, although there has been recent discussion about softening the restrictions.
Green is the fifth Warriors player to be put into the health and safety protocols over the last week. He joins Jordan Poole, Andrew Wiggins, Damion Lee and Moses Moody.
