Draymond Green issues online apology to Jordan Poole

The Warriors had a brief reunion with Jordan Poole this week. Poole's Wizards visited the Bay Saturday in a 122-114 Warriors win over the NBA's worst team (currently 6-35 on the year).

Any time Poole faces the Warriors, it's a reminder of the trade that sent him away, and the of the incident when Draymond Green punched Poole in the face. Green played just three minutes Saturday before leaving with an ankle injury.

After the game, Poole made comments praising the Warriors... most of the Warriors.

“I love those guys over there," Poole said. "I love most of those guys over there."

Green saw those comments from Marc Spears on Twitter/X and responded in the comments with a to-the-point apology.

"I really am sorry," Green wrote.

Green apologized previously to Poole and admitted that punching him was a failure on his part as a leader.
