Draymond Green will not play for the Warriors in Denver tonight as Golden State concludes a four game road trip. Green is out due to personal reasons while Gary Payton II is now listed as questionable due to illness.
Green missed the first two games of the season with a sprained ankle he sustained prior to training camp but has played in the last six averaging 10.3 points, 5.0 rebounds and 6.7 assists. Payton has played in all eight games for the Warriors off the bench and been a part of Golden State's closing lineup multiple times in the early going this season.
Green's absences opens the door for Jonathan Kuminga to potentially start although Chris Paul got the nod in Green's absence to begin the season. Look for more opportunities for rookie Trayce Jackson-Davis as well as the Warriors face the defending champs and two-time MVP Nikola Jokic for the first time this season.
