Steve Kerr told reporters on Monday afternoon that Draymond Green has officially been ruled out for tomorrow's season opener against the Suns at Chase Center.
While Green was a full participant at practice Monday the Warriors didn't want to rush his return after missing the entire preseason with a left ankle sprain. Skipping the opener gives Green three additional days of rest and ramp up before the Warriors play again on Friday night at Sacramento.
Expect Chris Paul, Stephen Curry, Klay Thompson, Andrew Wiggins and Kevon Looney to start for the Warriors against Phoenix.
