Green agreed to a four-year, $100 million deal to stay with the only franchise he's ever played for, Shams Charania of The Atheltic reported as soon as free agency opened at 3 p.m. PT Friday.
The news comes as a big win for the Warriors, who keep one of their leaders and franchise cornerstones after the forward opted out of the final year of his contract that would have paid him $27.5 million.
Last season with the Warriors, Green averaged 8.5 points, 7.2 rebounds, 6.8 assists and 1.0 steals in 31.5 minutes per game. He also shot 52.7 percent from the field and 30.5 percent from deep.
