The Warriors, in major need of upgrading their frontcourt options, are expected to check in on Dwight Howard, per Shams Charania of The Athletic.
Howard was a member of the NBA's newly-crowned champions, the Lakers. Howard and the Lakers have "mutual interest" in a reaching a new deal. Howard had originally joined the Lakers last offseason, agreeing to a non-guaranteed pact worth $2.56 million.
Howard, with his rebounding and rim protection, could be a welcome for a Warriors squad where Marquese Chriss is currently the best option at center.
