After Oakland-born basketball star Oscar Frayer, his sister, Andrea Moore-Frayer, and a third (as of yet unnamed passenger) died in a car wreck earlier this week, a local basketball player appears to have stepped up in a very big way.
That would seem to be the same Marquese Chriss who was just jettisoned by the Warriors in a cost-cutting move in advance of Thursday's NBA trade deadline. Chriss, who is 23, the same age as Frayer was, is from Sacramento and posted about the Oakland native twice on his Instagram Story.
