The questions as to whether or not Sacramento Kings star guard De'Aaron Fox will be active vs. the Golden State Warriors on Wednesday night have seemingly be answered - by none other than Fox himself.
“There’s no if, ands or buts," Fox told reporters. "I’m playing.”
Fox, of course, was listed as doubtful heading into Game 5 after suffering a fractured finger in Game 4. The series is current tied at 2-2 heading back to Sacramento.
However, it might not be as simple as Fox wanting to play or not, but rather a question of pain tolerance.
"Most likely, yea," Fox said. "I mean, for me right now its just the tolerance on the pad of my finger and making sure I can shoot the ball... As we got going, and as the pain started going away, I felt like i could shoot my normal shot."
Fox has been nearly unstoppable in the series vs. the Warriors, averaging 25.3 points, eight assists and 1.3 steals per game.
