When Jordan Poole was whistled for three carrying violations in Tuesday night’s loss to the Miami Heat, the Warriors openly questioned whether or not the NBA will enforce it so strictly with every player around the league.
Memphis Grizzlies superstar Ja Morant hopes he’ll be in the clear.
Known as one of the NBA’s most electrifying ball-handlers, Morant tweeted out, “everybody do it lol” Wednesday while quoting video of Steve Kerr and Draymond Green’s reactions from Tuesday night.

Morant has used his Twitter account to throw subtle jabs at the Warriors in the past – like last season when he deleted a tweet implying Poole “broke the code” and injured his knee – but this time Ja is showing solidarity with the Golden State guard.
In addition to Poole’s violation, Rockets guard Caleb Martin was also whistled for a dribbling violation, a rarity in today’s game.
"What Jordan does is a carry, but the whole league’s been doing it,” Kerr said.
Draymond added, "If you’re gonna call that, you better call it. Because every guard in the NBA carries. A lot. Some of the best ball handlers in the NBA carry often. If it's a point of emphasis, let's see it."
The Warriors weren’t happy with the refereeing in general Tuesday, as Steph Curry also had a late 3-point foul call reversed with his team trailing by three points.
As for Morant, The Grizzlies play the Portland Trail Blazers on Wednesday night with tip-off scheduled for 7 p.m. PT, so we’ll have to tune in to see if Ja is more careful with the ball and the refs are whistle-happy.
