Kerr: 'We should have won that game'

The day after the Warriors lost 103-100 to the Lakers Steve Kerr joined Damon, Ratto & Kolsky and said what just about everyone who watched was saying… Golden State let one slip away.

“My feeling, immediately after the game was, we should have won that game,” Kerr said on 95.7 The Game.

The game ended like so:

Ultimately, this absurd 34-foot-fadeaway form LeBron proved to be the decisive bucket.

“We controlled the whole game. It was right there for us. We just couldn’t quite pull it off.”

The Warriors now face the Grizzlies in a win-or-go-home game on Friday night at Chase Center. Tip-off is at 6pm on 95.7 The Game.

“Last night’s game, honestly, it felt like a Finals game,” Kerr said.

“It was so much fun. And, obviously, losing, it made it so difficult,” Kerr added.  “And we’re all just so angry that we didn’t get it done, but, what the hell? That’s what this is all about. Competition, at the highest level.

“So, we can’t wait for another crack at it tomorrow against a really good young team that we know is hungry for a win and a playoff berth, too. So, it should be good stuff.”
