Kevin Durant does not seem to be a fan favorite in Greece.
The Brooklyn Nets star was on hand in Piraeus for the decisive Game 5 of the EuroLeague playoff matchup between Olympiacos Piraeus and AS Monaco on Wednesday, but did not receive a warm welcome for the Olympiacos fan base.

Instead, Durant received a chorus of boos when he was shown on the jumbotron.
The Olympiacos fans have their reasons, though.
Durant was in Monaco for Game 4 cheering on his friend and former Nets teammate Mike James, who plays for the team. He even reportedly celebrated with those around him when an Olympiacos player missed the potential game-winning shot, forcing a Game 5.
Yet, Durant’s presence is certainly a big deal for the league as it has one of the biggest NBA stars watching their game and bringing attention and publicity to it.
Durant, who was reportedly sitting with Olympiacos legend Vassilis Spanoulis, seemed to be smiling through all the boos.
In fact, Durant was soaking up the atmosphere of the playoff game.
