Killa Klay is still a thing.
Warriors sharpshooter Klay Thompson is in Santa Cruz rehabbing with the G League Warriors and it looks like he’s moving around well. He also came up clutch by hitting a game-winning 3-pointer in Tuesday’s scrimmage.
Santa Cruz Warriors broadcaster Kevin Danna shared video of Klay -- headband and all -- running down the court before knocking down the trifecta.

Just from a pure mobility standpoint, Thompson looks great. We saw him brooding on the bench for 35 minutes last week and he said he’s more motivated than ever after sitting out the past two seasons due to injury. Thompson said the 18-2 Warriors have a “championship or bust” mentality this season.

The Warriors are still unsure when Thompson will return as he builds up his conditioning for 12-minute NBA quarters. Warriors president and general manager Bob Myers spoke about Thompson’s return and it sounds like he will recoup his starting role despite Jordan Poole’s development this season.
After the birth of his child with Sydel Curry-Lee, Warriors guard Damion Lee joined Thompson and second-year James Wiseman to get some work in Santa Cruz Tuesday. Lee is expected to rejoin the Warriors Friday against the Phoenix Suns.
