There’s the picture-perfect shooting form that Dubs fans love.
Injured Warriors star Klay Thompson looked to be in vintage form Wednesday during a shootaround at the team practice facility in San Francisco. In the video below, Thompson nailed seven straight 3-pointers while showing a little bit of lift.
The Warriors are targeting a January return for Thompson, who has missed the past two seasons while dealing with injuries to his left ACL and right achilles tendon. Sure, he wasn’t cutting or making any swift movements on Wednesday, but it’s encouraging to see Thompson still has that flawless shot.
Jordan Poole is sure to ease some perimeter pressure off Thompson’s Splash Brother Stephen Curry this season, but he’s no Klay. Thompson’s return could be transformational for the Warriors if he’s anything close to the player before his injury in the 2019 NBA Finals.
