Warriors forward Jonathan Kuminga sat out the contact portion of practice on Tuesday after jamming his thumb when he hit is hand on the backboard during Monday's session, Steve Kerr told reporters.
Kuminga isn't expected to miss any game action with the Warriors next scheduled to play in the preseason on Friday night in Los Angeles against the Lakers. Kuminga led the Warriors with 24 points, eight rebounds, four assists and two blocks in Golden State's 125-108 preseason opening win over the Lakers at Chase Center on Saturday night.
Chris Paul also sat out as a precaution after some heavier days of scrimmaging during the early part of training camp.
