LeBron James was clearly tuned into Tuesday night’s contest between the Warriors and Suns in Phoenix.
Shortly after Jordan Poole scored seven straight points and 12 of 14 in an impressive salvo, LeBron gave a shoutout to the fourth-year Warriors guard.
LeBron has given Steph Curry some love on some occasions, but this is a nod to JP’s rising status in the league.
Poole showed off his smooth handle and shooting ability, while also cooking former teammate Damion Lee. He went 5-of-6 to start the game and scored a dozen points in his first eight minutes of the game, which started as a shootout between the Western Conference foes. The Suns eventually went on to win 134-105 as Klay Thompson was ejected for the first time in his career.

Poole had a rough start to the season, going a combined 6-of-20 with eight turnovers in his first two games, dribbling the ball off his leg a couple of occasions. But he busted out a 24-point performance against the Sacramento Kings on Sunday, going 7-of-14 from the field and 3-of-5 from 3-point land.
Big things are expected out of the 23-year-old this season after he inked a four-year, $123 million extension that also includes a possible $17 million in incentives.
