With his composed nature and high IQ playing style, you might forget that Moses Moody is only 20 years old.

The second-year Warriors wing joined 95.7 The Game’s “Steiny & Guru” Monday to discuss his development and how he’s trying to be a sponge on the Dubs dynasty.

Moody said he always tried to learn from his older family members and coaches growing up, so when he landed at Golden State, it became an easy environment for him to grow in.

“I love to soak up game,” Moody said. “Just imagine getting that opportunity? These guys, superstars and all that. That’s just an opportunity for me to figure out things early, and later on I can start implementing those things that I’m learning.”

While other 2021 lottery picks may have received more playing time than Moody his rookie season, as he averaged 11.7 minutes in 52 games, only Moody and Jonathan Kuminga have rings from their draft class.

“To each his own,” Moody said. “Everybody has their own journey. Mine might be learning before I get out in the field and really start implementing those things. Other people might be getting out in the field and figuring it out that way. I’m not gonna compare my story or my journey to other people’s.”
