The NBA is expected to drop the full 2023-24 schedule in the coming days, but for now we’re just getting morsels from reporters.

On Thursday night, Shams Charania of The Athletic shared the NBA’s slate of Christmas Day games, which features a quintet of high-profile matchups.

The Warriors will travel to Denver to face the reigning NBA champion Nuggets on Christmas Day, as they will be part of the league’s annual holiday showcase once again.

The schedule news came just hours after Charania reported that the Warriors will open their season on Oct. 24 at home against Kevin Durant and Phoenix Suns.

While the Warriors will have something of a new look with Chris Paul instead of Jordan Poole, the Nuggets will bring back their championship core from last season, centered around the dynamic duo of Nikola Jokic and Jamal Murray.

Last Christmas, the Warriors and Grizzlies played an intense game that featured Klay Thompson talking trash to Dillon Brooks. There isn’t as much vitriol between the Warriors and Nuggets, but fans should be in for a quality clash between Steph Curry and Jokic.
