According to The Athletic's Shams Charania on Tuesday morning, Udoka has already "emerged as a strong frontrunner."

According to ESPN’s Adrian Wojnarowski, the deal could be consummated within the next 24-48 hours.

Udoka is currently serving a team-mandated suspension for 2022-23 for violating team policies, stemming from a reported "improper consensual relationship with a female member of the team staff."
