The Celtics will be at full strength in Game 1 of the NBA Finals. Robert Williams is available after being listed as questionable due to knee soreness.
However, there have been a few instances this postseason where he played but didn’t look like himself, so it’s unclear which version of Time Lord the Celtics will get Thursday. Still, he’ll be in the starting lineup — but the Celtics will monitor his minutes.
Ime Udoka said on Wednesday that Marcus Smart (ankle) would be listed as questionable, but he’s not on Boston’s injury report.
As for the Warriors, they’re getting some serious reinforcements back. Andre Iguodala (neck), Otto Porter (foot) and Gary Payton II (elbow) are all available for Game 1. Porter’s injury has been nagging, Iguodala hasn’t played in a long time and Payton’s injury could’ve easily kept him sidelined longer, so it’s unclear how effective the trio will be. But each of them can make a significant impact on the defensive end if healthy.
