Dub Nation saw a familiar face during the trophy ceremony on Thursday night at Chase Center. Former Warriors player and current exec Shaun Livingston joined the team at midcourt and presented Steph Curry with the inaugural Magic Johnson Award for Western Conference Finals MVP. Livingston, of course, appeared in five straight Finals with the Warriors from 2015-19.
Livingston joined 95.7 The Game’s “Damon & Ratto” Friday to discuss the momentous occasion and the franchise reaching the Finals. Check out the full interview below:
"I hate to downplay those moments, I’ve talked about appreciating it," Livingston said. "I know Steph is going to appreciate it. But I think the biggest thing for Steph is knowing that the journey’s not over. As nice as it is, just to get to the FInals, there’s still more work to go. He's about competing for rings. They don't give those out to the Western Conference Champion."
