Steph and Ayesha Curry turn school bus into mobile resource center for kids in Oakland

Stephen Curry and his wife Ayesha Curry pulled up to an elementary school in Oakland Wednesday, unveiling a school bus converted into a mobile resource center for kids.

The Eat. Learn. Play. Bus will distribute meals, fresh produce and free books to underserved children in the Oakland community.

It's impossible to miss the bright neon, multicolor bus, but that was the goal. When it was designed, they wanted to make sure kids could see it.

Steph and Ayesha's foundation, Eat. Learn. Play., strives to deliver 100,000 books, 50,000 hot meals and more than 500,000 pounds of fresh produce to families throughout the next year.

After the COVID-19 pandemic forced schools to close, Eat. Learn. Play started a food delivery program for students. According to the San Francisco Chronicle, the foundation has delivered 16 million meals across Oakland.
