If there’s a time for Steph Curry to kick up his feet and have a drink, it’s now.
The Warriors are used to NBA Finals runs and short summer breaks, but they’ve got an extra month of free time after getting bounced in the second round by the Los Angeles Lakers. In case you want to enjoy your summer Curry style, you can pour out a glass of his new Kentucky bourbon whiskey.
Curry’s team issued a press release Monday saying his $79.99 “Gentleman’s Cut” bottles will be released in May, meaning sometime in the next week.
"Celebrations take on many different forms, from intimate gatherings to major milestones, and at the center of each memorable moment is a spirit rooted in history and tradition," Curry said in the release. "I'm proud to have helped carefully craft a new signature Kentucky Straight Bourbon, Gentleman's Cut. This rich, complex and bold bourbon is the perfect offering to commemorate life's great occasions, and will be part of a raised-glass toasting moment in the lives of my fans, friends and family."
Curry joins his Splash Brother Klay Thompson in adult beverage game, as Klay is a co-founder of Diamond & Key wines along with MLB star Nolan Arenado.
Steph continues to diversify his portfolio as he gets older. Not only is he the face of Under Armour and his personal Curry Brand, but he’s also in the book publishing space, founded the Underrated Golf Tour and heads up the Eat.Learn.Play Foundation with his wife Ayesha.
