Stephen Curry doesn’t know if he’ll play in Friday night’s contest against the Detroit Pistons, which is the second road game of a back-to-back.
Following his masterful 40-point performance in Thursday’s 104-89 win against the Cleveland Cavaliers, Curry said he’ll undergo an assessment for his hip. Curry injured himself taking a charge in the second half of Tuesday’s win over the Brooklyn Nets.
“That charge really messed with me a little bit,” Curry said. “So I'm just trying to deal with that a little bit. We'll see how it feels when I wake up. I don't got a lot of meat back there."
Curry (29.5 points per game) overtook Kevin Durant as the NBA’s leading scorer Thursday, as he went 9-of-16 from 3-point land and dropped 20 points in the fourth quarter.
The 13-2 Warriors might be able to afford to rest Curry against the 4-10 Pistons.
