Stephen Curry suffers hamstring injury in Game 1 vs. Timberwolves

The Golden State Warriors will be without superstar point guard Stephen Curry for the remainder of Game 1 of their second-round playoff series against the Minnesota Timberwolves.

Curry began grabbing his left hamstring shortly after burying a three-pointer to give the Warriors a 25-20 lead with over nine minutes remaining in the second quarter.

On the Warriors' ensuing possession, Curry scored on a floater before hobbling, once more, and motioned toward the bench that he was injured.

A timeout was eventually called by the Timberwolves following a Draymond Green three, and Curry immediately walked off the floor and into the locker room.

The Warriors immediately ruled him out for the remainder of the game due to a strained hamstring.

Golden State led 30-20 when Curry exited and held a 44-31 halftime lead. Curry had 13 points on 5-of-9 shooting.
