Stephen Curry signs massive 1-year extension [report]

Stephen Curry is sticking around a while longer. According to ESPN's Adrian Wojnarowski, the newly-minted Olympic gold medalist has agreed to a mammoth one-year extension with the Golden State Warriors.

Per Wojnarowski, it's a one-year, $62.6 million max extension, which means Curry is guaranteed a whopping $178 million over the next three seasons.

The 36-year-old future Hall of Famer is coming off a 26.4 points per game season and looks every bit like he has more left in the tank. The extension will take him through his age 36, 37 and now 38 seasons.

As usual, the attention will of course shift back to the Warriors, and whether they are in fact maximizing the roster they are putting around Curry as he enters the waning stages of his career.
