Klay Thompson intends to enjoy this Warriors season more than others given the fact that he remains unsigned beyond 2024 and contract talks aren't his primary focus now that the season is underway.
"You never know what's going to happen. I'm going to savor this as much as I can. Especially in this uniform. I was here before it was sweet, before it was four championships," Thompson said as he popped his jersey referring to the 23 win season during his rookie campaign in 2011-12.
"I was here building the foundation, so yeah I'm going to savor it. Cause everyone around the world thinks it's sweet when they look at Warriors but's It's not always been like this so I'm going to savor the heck out of it."
No Warriors fan wants to think of this, and there's still a strong likelihood Thompson and the team agrees to a new deal, but with each passing day it's worth remembering and appreciating that this season could be Thompson's last with Golden State. You can watch the full clip bellow.
