The atmosphere for Game 3 of the Warriors-Grizzlies Western Conference semifinals at Chase Center is sure to be intense.
95.7 The Game play-by-play man Tim Roye joined “The Morning Roast” with Bonta Hill and Joe Shasky Thursday to give his thoughts on the series, now that Dillon Brooks has been suspended for Game 3 following his hard foul on Gary Payton II that resulted in a fractured left elbow. “I don’t want to see them go out and take shots at Memphis because of what happened to Gary,” Roye said. “But I do want to see them be physical. I want to see them stand toe-to-toe and I think they’ll do that. They have a way of doing that. Strength in numbers has been the mantra since Steve Kerr has been here. Now it’s time for other guys to step up. There’s minutes now to be had in this series. Let’s see where that goes and who steps up to fill that void.”
