Kevin Durant and Charles Barkley have been engaged in a budding feud involving the Brooklyn Nets star’s ability to “drive the bus” versus “ride the bus.”
So, the NBA on TNT producers decided to have a little fun with all this bus talk.
Late Tuesday night, the show’s Twitter account tweeted out a video taken from a scene in “The Office” where Barkley was photoshopped driving a bus full of Brooklyn Nets toward Cancun.
Not only does the situation poke fun at the Barkley/Durant feud, but the bus picks up Ben Simmons, who was “playing hooky from work.”
“The Office” scene was not the only joke NBA on TNT had in store over the whole bus drama.
At the end of the show, Ernie Johnson led Barkley and the crew off stage where he handed the analyst a pair of keys and presented him “The Chuck Wagon.”
Barkley got behind the wheel and drove the crew out of the lot, bursting right through the security gate on the way out.
