Report: Warriors 'more willing than ever' to trade Kuminga
The Warriors are off to an incredible start to the season with their old "Strength In Numbers" revitalized with some 12-man rotations. But could they level up and swing big? Some insiders believe that to be the case.
Sam Amick of The Athletic reported Friday that Jonathan Kuminga could absolutely be on the market if the Warriors try to add a major piece. He writes:
"Yet while rival executives believe the Warriors are more willing than ever to include Kuminga in a trade of significant magnitude, the fact remains that they’re setting their sights very high in terms of possible targets. One name to monitor is Jimmy Butler, the 35-year-old Miami Heat star who league sources say drew interest from the Warriors during the offseason and who did not come to terms on an extension. He’ll be an unrestricted free agent next summer."
The article reference the fact that the Warriors would have shipped off Kuminga in a potential dual move to get both Paul George and Lauri Markannen this summer. Their sights remain high. Read the full article here.
