The big reason the Warriors need Jimmy Butler on Monday? To put the Rockets on the brink.
Golden State was able to beat the Rockets in Game 3 on Saturday night without Butler, who missed the game with a pelvis and deep gluteal muscle contusion.
Butler has essentially been day-to-day since suffering the injury last week in Game 2. If Butler plays, it seems likely the Warriors are able to go up 3-1 against Rockets, who have won their only game of the series when Butler went out, then lost the next game.
