The Warriors could be without one of their stars to begin the season, as Jason Dumas of KRON 4 reports that Draymond Green has sprained his left ankle and could be out three to six weeks.
Green’s absence bleeding into the start of the regular season would be a blow to a Warriors team looking to get off to a fast start. However, it might initially make debate over the team's initial starting lineup moot.
After missing almost half of the 2021-22 season due to a back injury, Green appeared in 73 games last season, averaging 8.5 points, 7.2 rebounds and 6.8 assists.
More to come on Warriors media day Monday when The Morning Roast with Bonta and Shasky and Steiny and Guru broadcast live from Chase Center from 6a-2p.
