The Warriors received good news on the MRI of Stephen Curry's right knee. Curry missed Tuesday's game due to soreness in the knee and it had been reported earlier in the day by Shams Charania of The Athletic and Stadium he sustained a knee sprain.
“There was good news with the MRI, nothing alarming," Steve Kerr told reporters after the game. "So I would say he’s day-to-day and we’ll see. We’ll just have an update each day and let you know what’s going on but it won’t be long. If he misses another game or two, whatever, it’s not going to be anything long term.”
Chris Paul moved into the starting lineup with Curry out and Brandin Podziemski played a career high 39 minutes scoring 23 points in the Warriors 104-101 loss to the Timberwolves. The Warriors homestand continues Thursday and Saturday against the Thunder and concludes Monday against the Rockets.
