Warriors Injury Updates: News on Green, Kuminga, others

The Warriors got at least a little bit of positive news Friday afternoon. They got a two-day reprieve after their sketchy, one-point win over the Minnesota Timberwolves Thursday night, ahead of a home game Saturday night against the Washington Wizards.

At the very least, the Warriors should have Draymond Green back in their lineup. Green has missed the past three games with a combination of an illness and a back injury, but he was listed as probable for Saturday night.

Meanwhile, Golden State will still be without Kyle Anderson (hamstring) Brandin Podziemski (abdomen) and Jonathan Kuminga (ankle).

Podziemski did take a major step in his recovery, though. Steve Kerr said Friday that he scrimmaged for the first time since suffering the injury against the Phoenix Suns December 28. He'll miss his 10th-straight game Saturday, but that scrimmage could indicate a return sooner than later.
