Warriors lament missed goaltending call in loss to Nuggets

As the Warriors dropped their road trip finale to the Nuggets on Wednesday night in Denver in a close one 108-105, the attention shifted postgame to a missed goaltending call at the 8:29 mark of the fourth quarter.

Stephen Curry drove the lane and was blocked by Aaron Gordon leading to a fast break on the other end and a Nuggets layup by Kentavius Caldwell-Pope counted by a similar goaltending violation by the Warriors Trayce Jackson-Davis.

The call created a four point swing that turned what would have been a tie game into a Nuggets five point lead. The Warriors were able to still tie the game again down the stretch and had multiple other opportunities to win, regardless the call was missed and the Warriors reacted to it postgame.

Steve Kerr was asked about it and had his usual measured approach.
