Warriors suffer 'doomsday scenario' loss to Spurs with Harrison Barnes buzzer beater
It seemed like a game the Golden State Warriors were supposed to win.
With playoff seeding on the line and going against a San Antonio Spurs squad that won't be in the playoffs, this was an opportunity for the Dubs to take care of business.
Instead, it was former Warrior Harrison Barnes hitting a 3-pointer at the buzzer to beat Golden State and bump the Dubs down to the No. 7 seed. That puts them in the play-in, needing a loss by the Memphis Grizzlies for a shot at the sixth seed.
What exactly happened Wednesday night? On The Morning Roast, Joe Shasky calls it one of the most unacceptable losses he can remember in a long time.
"I'm not even disappointed. I'm furious," Shasky said Thursday morning. "This team has no business losing that game, given the stakes, to that team."
