Just last week, Draymond Green told ESPN that he’s motivated to get Chris Paul his first championship ring.
On Monday, we got a glimpse of Draymond and CP3 working out together, apparently in the Los Angeles at a gym called The DSTRKT.
Trainer Travis Walton shared pictures and videos of the two Warriors teammates working out.
Much has been made about Paul joining the Warriors after more than a decade of being a nemesis for Steph Curry and Dubs fans alike. Even Draymond admitted he hated Paul at an “11” on a scale of 1-to-10, while CP3 couldn’t believe the trade initially and general manager Mike Dunleavy said the Warriors veterans had to warm up to the idea.
We’re just a couple weeks away from training camp opening on Oct. 2, so seeing Draymond and CP3 high-fiving in the gym and working out makes it seem a lot more real.
After Draymond derailed the team chemistry with his punch on Jordan Poole last year, there will be loads of attention on the ego-filled locker room this season with Paul perhaps adjusting to the first bench role of his career.
