During Day 2 of the NFL Draft, Texans coach Bill O'Brien was seen on television looking very upset with something.
No one knew what at the time, but it was later learned it was because of a failed trade.
According to John McClain of the Houston Chronicle, the Lions backed out of a trade when the Texans were on the clock with the 90th pick of the draft.
Lions GM Bob Quinn was asked about it afterwards, but he said a deal wasn't in place.
"Listen, we talk to a lot of teams," Quinn said to reporters. "When we're not on the clock we talk to a bunch of teams and it's not just myself. We've got four or five people that make calls, so I'm not sure what that was about. But we didn't have a trade."
Houston ended up taking Florida edge rusher Jonathan Greenard at No. 90.
