49ers Injuries: Updates on Purdy, Greenlaw, more

The 49ers got bludgeoned by the Green Bay Packers Sunday night in Wisconsin. They were without Brock Purdy, Nick Bosa, Trent Williams, Charvarius Ward and others in the 38-10 loss and Kyle Shanahan provided injury updates Monday afternoon.

There were no concrete updates on any of those leading names, but Shanahan did have a minor update on Purdy.

Purdy did light throwing Monday morning which, Shanahan said, is a, "good sign that the pain hadn't come back." He will rest tomorrow and see how his shoulder responds.

Shanahan said that last week, Purdy felt worse on Thursday than he did at the start of the week. They rested him from there, and his shoulder felt better Monday. They'll rest him until Wednesday, Shanahan said. Shanahan also said that Bosa and Williams are "both in the same boat" and will be evaluated throughout the week.

Elsewhere, both Renardo Green (neck) and Demetrius Flannigan-Fowles (knee) will be day to day. Dominick Puni (shoulder) + Deommodore Lenoir (knee) are both waiting for MRI.

The especially negative news for the 49ers is that offensive lineman Jon Feliciano will not play this season. His knee did not respond as the 49ers had hoped, and he'll revert to injured reserve.

The good news? Dre Greenlaw will have his practice window opened this week and is expected to practice Wednesday. He'll have 21 days to practice and either be activated in that time or return to the reserve/physically unable to perform injury list.
