The 49ers have some major injury concerns ahead of their matchup with the Seattle Seahawks. In addition to punter Mitch Wishnowsky and Darrell Luter Jr. both being placed on injured reserve this week, San Francisco had multiple players come into Sunday truly questionable.
They had three players, in George Kittle, Trent Williams and Nick Bosa all to be decided based on how they felt before Sunday's game. Out of those three, Kittle will be inactive, while Williams and Bosa will both play. The 49ers' remaining inactives are as follows:
WR Ronnie Bell
QB Josh Dobbs (Emergency QB)
DL Kevin Givens
DL Khalil Davis
CB Charvarius Ward (personal)
OL Ben Bartch
It's also worth noting that the 49ers announced tight end Eric Saubert has an illness, but is expected to play. Look for Jake Tonges and Brayden Willis, the other two young tight ends on the roster, to have potentially increased reles Sunday.
Yetur Gross-Matos is returning from injured reserve, however. The 49ers also promoted punter Pat O'Donnell to the active roster and activated both Tashaun Gipson Sr. and Nick McCloud to the active roster.
For the Seahawks, both D.K. Metcalf and starting tackle Abe Lucas will return, though Lucas may not play every snap. Either way, he's an upgrade over Stone Forsythe. Here is Seattle's inactive list:
CB Nehemiah Pritchett
TE Brady Russell
TE Noah Fant
LB Trevis Gipson
T Sataoa Laumea
WR Dareke Young
DE Myles Adams
Seattle had center Connor Williams retire in the middle of this week and will push second-year offensive lineman Olu Oluwatimi to starting center.
