Time for 49ers to panic with Deebo Samuel joining CMC on the shelf?

The San Francisco 49ers were dealt another blow to their offense when head coach Kyle Shanahan told reporters Monday that star wide receiver Deebo Samuel will miss "a couple weeks" due to a calf strain.

Samuel paced the 49ers with 110 receiving yards on eight catches in the 23-17 loss to the Minnesota Vikings on Sunday. Per ESPN's Nick Wagoner, Samuel believes the injury occurred on a play late in the game.

The 49ers are already without star running back Christian McCaffrey for at least the next three weeks after he was placed on injured reserve due to calf tightness and Achilles tendinitis.

The fortunate news for the 49ers is that they will face the Los Angeles Rams on Sunday, who are already dealing with several injuries of their own. Star wideouts Puka Nacua and Cooper Kupp have already been ruled out. Offensive linemen Jonah Jackson, Joe Noteboom, and Steve Avila, as well as safety John Johnson III, are also not expected to suit up.

Despite what could be a favorable matchup on Sunday, is it time for the 49ers to hit the panic button ?Willard and Dibs weighed in on Monday's show.
