Mock draft season is, officially, in full effect.
In the mock dialed up by NFL Media's Peter Schrager, the Patriots move up 11 picks in a trade with the Atlanta Falcons, allowing them to acquire the No. 4 overall pick and select former Ohio State quarterback Justin Fields.
Oh, and the 49ers are tabbed to select Mac Jones. Just a couple of days ago, ESPN's Adamn Schefter had also linked Jones to the Niners.
And let's not forget that Chris Simms, who is a close friend of Kyle Shanahan, thinks Jones is the guy at No. 3.
