Deebo Samuel rocked the NFL world on Wednesday.
The disgruntled wide receiver reportedly has requested a trade from the 49ers and longtime NFL analyst Brian Baldinger called in to 95.7 The Game's "Willard & Dibs" to discuss Deebo's reported discontent with his hybrid receiving/rushing role. Check out the full interview below:
"Fans love him in that role," Baldinger told hosts Mark Willard and Dan Dibley. "We love watching him and dissecting him in that role because he's good at it. But there's a difference between (defensive end) Nick Bosa hitting you at the line of scrimmage and (corner) Ambry Thomas hitting you out of bounds on the sideline. Those hits that you take from the middle linebacker and defensive linemen versus defensive backs, that would shorten your career."
